“Therefore, I urge you brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship.” (Romans 12:1 NIV)

Our motivation to worship: the mercies of God. His eternal love, grace, salvation, peace, joy, comfort, hope, patience, and eternal life are a just a few of God’s mercies that motivate us to worship Him.

Our worship: offering our heart and renewing our mind so that we no longer conform to the practices of the world but are transformed so that we may do what is good and acceptable always pleasing God with our obedience. When we truly understand this, we realize worship doesn’t just take place on Sunday morning. Worship is a lifestyle. And, because of that, when we come together in our corporate worship services, our hearts overflow in praise and adoration of the God who has been so merciful to us.

The purpose of the Grayson worship ministry is to lead people into a lifestyle of worship. We do not want our people walking out of our services saying: “What a great choir and worship team!” or “What a great preacher!” …we want them proclaiming “What a great Savior!”

Here at Grayson, we offer 3 corporate worship events: 8:30am (Traditional), 9:30am (Modern/Contemporary) 11:00am (Traditional)

There are many ways to participate and model a lifestyle of worship for others.

Service Styles and Times

Traditional Worship Services – Our Sunday morning Traditional Worship Services are at 8:30am and 11am in our beautiful church sanctuary. Both services contain the “classic” or traditional worship elements. We enjoy music from our Worship Choir, piano, organ and orchestra. We sing hymns as a congregation. We say the Lord’s Prayer, recite the Apostle’s Creed and partake of Communion. Lastly, we hear powerful biblically based messages from our pastors. When you visit you will be greeted with a smile, a warm welcome and likely a hug too.

9:30 Contemporary Service - We invite you to attend our contemporary service and get connected. No matter where you are on your faith journey, you are welcomed here! We offer modern worship with traditional elements, such as modernized hymns, reciting the Apostle’s Creed, and the offering of holy communion. This service takes place at 9:30am on Sunday mornings in the Praise and Life Center (PLC/Gym).
